Flowering Stone

Flowering Stone

A Poem by emman

Flowering Stone

Covered by anger and pride

Scary as the high tide

Razor words glide

Devil inside

Talk less and passive

Sharp when active

So decisive

Hard to believe

Talks silently

Holds so gently

Revenge so madly

So badly

Challenges of time

Hard to rhyme

Acidic as a lime

End of mime

A stone planted in the heart

Hard part by part

But soften by love

Pure as the dove

It’s a flowering stone

With the finest tone

Singing for the transformation

The new generation

Oh my wow! That is amazing! I loved the touch of science to this poem! The metaphors were completely brilliant! A stone represents rudeness, pride and strength while a flower represents love, excellent:) I like how the stone 'softens' when a flower grows on it.....Keep writing!
