Forevermore Astray

Forevermore Astray

A Poem by Infernos Wretched

In grace and in beauty,
we all have our own flaws,
even those who have created
inventions,
those whom have made the laws.

We never see the goodness in ourselves
and in our hearts,
instead we bring down ourselves and
break our own hearts.

Sticking together, we all could face our
own pain,
instead of standing in the withering
pouring rain.

Could we sit and wonder who could save us?
Or do we pray to god to forgive us for all our sins?
Should we stay blind and feel trapped,
Or can we be saved and find ourselves free again?

Although we all are human,
we constantly stand in the fire to burn,
we constantly make mistakes,
thinking we are never in the wrong.

All of us are beautiful,
All of us are different in our own ways.
It makes us who we are;
It makes us willingly tough, and out-righteously strong.

Setting rain to the fire could be ever blissfully so sweet,
It is as if the blind could see, and the deaf could hear;
It is like a gust of wind taking out the fire,
So we could all love and make things ever more dire.

We are all sinfully elegant;
We pray to our god, whom takes it all away;
To make it infinitely so distant, making it forevermore astray.
