Evanescent

Evanescent

A Poem by Chris

The cry for help, huh! what a funny thing.

Guess it's time to realize

I learned a thing or two about humility.

Guess it's why I sleep so low.

How would you know you have no home here?

Clear conscious and all, look where I've been!

Won't go too far, though i'll travel the bend.

They know what I've got, see what I don't.

Sew to pay the cost, don't believe that I won't.

Didn't have the master card,

Guess I'm short on ends.

Pulling out a b*****d card

On all my so called friends.

What's the defenition of a soul-journer?

Faith leads a prophet towards knowledge, gotta go further.

Normality's dull and I'm full of restlessness,

Don't want to think about me or my feelings

But selflessness.

In the mad hunt for treasure I've been dissalusioned.

Thinking that I'm here for them just brings confusion.
