"Sorry"

I realise that I never did let go
Of the words btween my lips
And still I know I'll never show
All what I felt in a fleeting  glimpse

All what is left for me to say is sorry
At this moment,here and now
My heart was just in a hurry
It can never lie or bow

I'm sorry for thinking the best in you
I wasn't mislead, only mistaken
I'm sorry I couldn't see what was true
I can only change what was shaken

I dont expect forgiveness, Just letting you know
I am who I am and you remain who you are
This way I can be happy letting you go
But who knows? I might smile from afar

It's a saddened piece, however, still hopeful and peaceful. Wonderful!

This is rlly good...i completely agree that saying sorry is sometimes the only thing you can do in a situation and that it can be rlly hard to say to someone...nice poem :)

I agree with Coyote here. Sorry seems to be the hardest word at times. Sometimes I feel I say it too much. You did a wonderful job expressing yourself on this write.

Hard word to say sometimes. When we sat them seem they don't mean much. I believe in the loneliness of a lost friend or lover. The words will be remembered. A excellent poem. Made me think this morning.
