Thou Shalt Give Me What I Seek

Thou Shalt Give Me What I Seek

A Poem by cyphertext

Thou Shalt Give Me What I Seek

I

O heavens above beckon thee

Hear my cries and reply to me

Look into my eyes and thou shall see

The skies, the earth and man a unity

II

Give me health and I will breathe

Give me wisdom and I will perceive

Give me hope and I will pursue

What potential I have ensue

III

Power unique, unlike any other

Granted by thou benevolence

My sincere celestial mother

Thou spirit truly omnipresence

IV

Born of royal blood I have been

But fate not predestined guided me so

To observe the problems keen

Breed both friend and foe

My gift neither welcomed nor compelled

Rendered my being to be expelled
