MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

A guy who is in love with a woman who is a mess in many way's.

Everymorning you rise from your sleep, 

Everymorning theres secrets you keep. 

Everymorning you have a messy head of hair, 

Every morning I'll always be there. 

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

Your wall is up, for you've had a tough life,

Your wall is up, but someday ill tear it down.

Your wall is up, oneday i'll make you my wife,

Your wall is up, you always wear a frown,

but someday i'll turn it upside down.

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

Never happy with how you look, 

Always wanting someone to hold.

Never easy to read, nor an open book,

Always crying out in the cold. 

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

One day when your walls come down, 

I'll drive away the hurt and pain. 

One day when you come around, 

I know i can make you happy again. 

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

I'll pull you up and onto your feet, 

Ill hold you close and never let you fall.

Because your best girl i'll ever meet,

You're worth it all.

MY BEAUTIFUL MESS!

Everynight I'll watch you as you sleep,

Everynight for you're the one i'll cherish and keep.

Everynight I'll smile to myself as i lay in our bed,

Everynight I dream of the day we will be Wed!

This is truly powerful. One is truly lucky to have someone who will stand by them through thick and thin, accept and love them as they are, and soothingly let them relax a bit more and open up at their own pace. And it is possible if two people want it to happen and work at it together!

I'd say I'd just read A Beautiful Mess!
I dig how you're able to tie each section to the same refrain even though different aspects of the relationship are being described. The relationship feels so real, you've captured a portrait of the intimacy level that everyone in the world aspires to. Great poem!

You know so well how love can see deeper than the surface, and how it reaches in and holds on tight, because living without one's "beautiful mess" becomes no life at all. This is such a powerful vision of what real love should be; it never gives up.
