THE WORLD WE LIVE IN!

A little poem about the fucked up world we live in.

The world we all live in honestly sucks, 

So hard to even earn a couple of bucks.

The rich get richer and the poor stay poor.

The government take our money, only wanting more. 

Prices keep rising, they never seem to stop,

whilest the money we earn stays the same. 

Soon people will no longer afford to shop,

What this world will turn into is such a shame. 

Most males these days, only seem to want one thing, 

Girls left there shattered, by the heartbreak these men bring.

So hard to find a man who thinks with his heart and not his dick,

So hard to find a man who doesn't act all cocky and slick. 

So many sicko's that do some crazy s**t,

there's killers, rapists and fires being deliberately lit.

Why do people do what they do, Does it give them a thrill,

I just think there heartless, or maybe just mentally ill.

To bring more children into this world, would just be cruel,

as the world only seems to be getting worse day by day.

You can see the future clear, but it doesn't look very bright,

Honestly would you wan't your kids to live this way.

So lets all prey for a miracle and hope the world gets turned around,

Because lets just face it if not, our spots are waiting for us under the ground.

(PS: That's If we can afford to have a nice grave, might re kill us and burn our ashes, because we have to pay when we die to. HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT!)

I think I can say that many of us think this way about the world and feel so out of control without any power to do anything about it. We end up resigned to trying not to think about it to avoid becoming depressed and angry. It's good to know there are others that think the same. In the end all we can do is try to make ourselves and those around us happy and make the part of it that we can control into a better place and hope that it ripples enough. Well written and I hope you get to read it out loud somewhere with all the emotion that comes with it.

A nice and thought provoking piece. Though, it presents you as a pessimist because as far as I know it is the condition in India, your country is still a little better off. And I can truly see what you want to say in fifth stanza (I know in australia they encourage people to have more kids). But what worries is that we can change society and bring change to our countries but its not enough, now we need to fight nature. Its so damn hot here, the whole damn Earth is on the verge of destruction. A nice poem you have written.

All the things mentioned in this poem are the main reason why I don't watch the news! The world sure is a crazy thing and I have long ago given up trying to figure it out but I think that if you just be the best person you could possibly be and surround yourself to happiness, we are one step closer to making the world a better place :)

i would love to see how this world will be in 25 years everyone will be living on the streets none of us will be eating. we will all die in 20 years if it keeps going like this.
