What is a Woman

 

Sweet smile upon her face,

Pretty picture in her Sunday best

Sugar and spice and all things nice

Trying hard just to get it right

Can’t always do what she is told

Raise the kids and don’t be bold

Scratch the surface what do you see

One of life’s great mysteries

Do you know what its like to be a woman

Play the game even change her name

Stay silent when she feels the pain

Keep smiling amid the strain

Pointed fingers when she don’t get it right

High expectations that is her life

 

Running around with the human race

Keeping up with the speeding pace

Contradictions, it’s the way of life

Predetermined just to be a wife

Pushing hard to break the mould

Fitting into a mothers role

I ask myself can I really win

Complications are setting in

 

Do you know what its like to be a woman………………..

 

Time pulling at the strings

Natural instincts, where do they begin

It’s hard when you can’t show

What a ladies supposed to know

Always told were all the same

Messing up and playing games

Seems we always get the blame

It plays havoc with my brain
