The Darkness

Have you ever felt alone?

Surrounded by darkness.

Living at home,

And feeling selfless.

 

Have you ever felt so sad?

Wishing a way out.

A darkness so bad,

You scream and you shout.

 

Have you ever felt so helpless?

You’re on your own.

Knowing you’re trapped,

Scared to the bone.

 

This darkness around is,

Killing me slowly.

I want to be found,

And stop feeling so lonely.
