Act ii - The Apex AnimalsA Poem by E.P. RoblesRepetition, an arch of eyebrows strong, A pair of tigers, fierce and proud they stride, All bathed in white, less irregular, prolong From love, tomorrow's blessings do abide. The birds, they flee from sea's unyielding grasp, The cat departs his Vatican domain, He peers, reflections on his coral clasp, Enduring infernal heat and trying pain. Beyond, where light's domain does find its bound, Madly it climbs the steps of wisdom's lore, Then gravely descends, slumber's realm uncrowned, Shredded it ends, in dreams we shall explore. With names hallucinating, question mark, To feed the waves of sparrows, bread of life, In poetry, we embark on journeys stark, Embracing all, transcending earthly strife. :: 07.28.2023 ::
