Sendak

Sendak

A Poem by Erica Wilkinson

There is tell of a small boat

That crosses from green walled docks,

To distant waters and lands

Where wild creatures roam, free and safe

From the sour lick of man kind.

Maybe it was the thumbnail, maybe it was something else, but their was definitely a surrealist flavor here for me.
Brief, vivid, and thought-provoking.
Very well penned. *smile*
