they
called it an isolated incident a case of overexposure explicit integration of
skin
a passionate panorama of feelings flying into
a no fly zone no instigation of war
just a kiss of lovely
death the jealous media crawling all over the
story
but we hid from
reporters kept tight lipped
secrets as our eyes danced in
delightfully morose conjugation
the verbs conjoining to land without tense
because the present was destined to never be
past
our hearts forever
transitive each other's only object---
