i am mad at life

i am mad about life

i am mad at you

i am mad at war

mad at violence

mad at the economy

mad at the current president

and the former president

and the one before that

and the one before that

 

i am mad at slums

i am mad at people with bad gums

who can't afford the teeth doctor

because they are madly poor

and mad at their lives

and mad because of their lives

 

i am mad at myself for being mad

and i am mad at you for not understanding

and i am mad at you for not trying to understand

and i am mad at me for being mad at the world

 

and mad at me for being mad at you

because i really just want to be happy

 

and hug life

and hug the president

and hug poverty, vivaciously

and hug a dollar bill 

as i say bye to it forever

 

and embrace madness

until i don't know why i am mad

anymore

and don't care if i'm mad 

anymore

 

do you understand?

because i don't

 

and i am mad about that, too.

I think we only truly get peace as our last breath handed over to the waiting angels.
It takes so much energy to be angry, mad, vengeful, so much so that they should set up special gymnasiums where we can train for this so that we are not constantly tired, drained.
