My Utopia with one comma in itA Poem by jacob erin-cilberto
i am mad at life i am mad about life i am mad at you i am mad about you i am mad at war mad at violence mad at the economy mad at the current president and the former president and the one before that and the one before that i am mad at slums i am mad at people with bad gums who can't afford the teeth doctor because they are madly poor and mad at their lives and mad because of their lives i am mad at myself for being mad and i am mad at you for not understanding and i am mad at you for not trying to understand and i am mad at me for being mad at the world and mad at me for being mad at you because i really just want to be happy and hug life and hug the president and hug poverty, vivaciously and hug a dollar bill as i say bye to it forever and embrace madness until i don't know why i am mad anymore and don't care if i'm mad anymore do you understand? because i don't and i am mad about that, too. erin-cilberto 5/7/22 © 2022 jacob erin-cilbertoReviews
