A Poem by InsidiousRain

i wish that i could paint your silouette
with the brushes of feathered eyelashes

mix the blacks of their eyes
with the light in yours

trace the shadows of your jaw
with the grey shades of doubt

streak the bold flavours of coffee
through the waves of your hair

breathe the fine hazel mist of whorls
down the back of your neck

join the unique pinks
of our hesitant lips

mottle purples and blues
on the canvas of your neck

polarize the molecules of our bodies
with the reds of our tongues.

Some people are sheep. Some are politicians. Some are wisemen, leaders. A black and white world. Me? I'm that queer kid. Whoever has the faintest idea where I'm going, it sure as hell isn't me. .. more..
