My wonderful mother

An emotional story of a mother and a daughter

One day sitting with my friends,
I got to see many new fashion trends.
And now I wished to get those branded and expensive things,
The things that could only be afforded by people like queens and kings.
I knew my mom would not allow me to purchase them,
As their prices were much higher than the middle class standards of our home.
On my way to home,
I was only thinking how to blackmail my mom.
When I reached my home, I said to my mother:-
Mom my friends got some really nice and expensive clothes and gems,
And I also want to purchase some of them.
She said:-
Sorry dear but you know our condition is low and you have got so many dresses in your drawer,
And wearing them you look like a barbie doll.
I said:-
If you can't afford it and don't want to buy,so goodbye
I am leaving you alone and that's where you lie.

I left my mom and home,
And thought my life would become awesome without her,
Because she was the reason for me to suffer.
Walking and walking at night with no where to go,
I saw a young girl looking at the stars and was feeling low,
I asked her :- Why are you looking at the stars?
She said:- You don't know what these stars to me are,
The one brightest in the sky is my mom,
I lost her when I was twelve.
She every time tried to fulfill my wishes,
And i never noticed the pain and struggle in her eyes but now I wish to get back her motherly kisses.
And now when I realize her value, it is too late,
Cause she is beyond the heaven's gate.
The girl ran wiping her tears off,
Hearing her story I was shocked.
Then I sat beneath the night sky,
And started thinking what is life like,
Then I recalled the moments spent with my mother,
And felt that there is no one other like her .
I could not control my emotions ,
And I instantly ran back home,
And I saw my mother waiting for me at the door,
Seeing her I decided not to trouble or hurt her anymore.
Cause she is my wonderful mother and I love her !
