My Dreams You Take

My Dreams You Take

A Poem by Esteban Zamora
"

A poem I wrote when heartbroken =(

"

I might need to sweep

the pieces of my dreams

that once inscribed

a grimace on my childish face

I can't deliver anymore

no giving attention

nor relying on hope

or sinking in the desire

of my words

You decided to force madness

into my fragile mind

where summertime thoughts

used to drift together

Today I can kiss my dreams

goodbye.
