Hurt

Hurt

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts

It's hardly worth typing up a message

To bear my soul for what?

Lack of response?

Tonight I am despondent.

Hurt beyond repair.

Inflated ego

From the delusion

Deflated

Irreconcilable

Inconsolable

I spent all this time

Believing in you

Only to realize

You do not believe in me.

Sadness seeps in to my soul

Overwhelming sadness

I'd slit my wrists if I knew it wouldn't hurt.

About
I am chemically imbalanced and therefore this makes me cranky. MY name is not really Eunice, nor am I from the Crankyponts family. Simply put - Pseudonym. I have always enjoyed writing and decided .. more..
