Anticipatory flutter

Anticipatory flutter

A Poem by Eunice Crankyponts
"

I DO; I don't, I will, I won't - he's gone and I miss him.

"

He enters the room

My face goes flush

Embarrassed at the notion of him

Ideas surge from within

Anticipatory flutter begins in my heart

He approaches

He never encroaches

The one that I let close to my heart

Resting and knowing safety

Sharing anything

Always keeping me on my toes

The right sort of medicine

To cure my aching soul

To heal the pain of all those years ago

Aura of intense energy

Warmth and caring

Allowing me to shed my inhibitions

I rest safely in his

Safety and love
