Out of the frying pan, into...

Out of the frying pan, into...

A Poem by Ella Emergency

like the sky decided

to just fall off

        onto my lap

                and break a million times

spilling, spilling, spilling

every opportunity

        RIGHT. OUT. ON. ME.

like i just learned to fly

        or

jumped hoping i could

knowing - fly or fall - i'll love it

live or die, it'll be alright

if we never meet again

you'll still be who i dream of

Once again another none uplifting poem with regret and philosophical ideas,if it aint going to happen don't worry about it only worry about things that you can control and are within your influence everything else can sort itself out, that is my philosophy in life, not so much rhyming here but insightful nevertheless.

the poem itself is a wonderful way of expressing a feeling, but the last two lines could stand on their own as a powerful little poem. very precise and nicely done.
