Tight

Tight

A Poem by Mackenzie
"

the desire of dream becoming reality

"

When the lid shuts tight

Letting in no other light

Then that which is shown by the flickering in my head

Visions of all that I've wanted

Everything that once was or ever will be

The forgiveness felt because this dream filled world isn't real, and the sadness it brings my heart, because i'm dying for some false reality

I can hear someone crying

It's me, I don't see anything anymore, but I can feel a soft touch of reassurance

If only this trip could bring forth actuality.

If only I were smarter
