A Beautiful Love

A Beautiful Love

A Poem by unorthodox
"

The story of two people in love, working their way through hardship.

"

Skin as clear and pale as fresh snow.
Eyes as blue as a summer sky.
Hair as black as midnight itself.
She is perfection, no one can lie.

Adding even more to her beauty,
Her heart is as precious as gold.
Angelic, like one of God's children,
And born more powerful than the world.

Life tries its hardest to break her down,
With obstacle after obstacle thrown her way.
But she lives through all the hurdles and,
Endures the times she allows herself pain.

And how often others always wish,
To be as refined as she is because,
Though her life is far from flawless,
Only she can carry on like she does.

Not many can call her their own,
But there is one person in her life.
Different from the others, he is,
Carrying on along with her through strife.

A perfect pair they make through hardship,
The epitome of affection and beautiful love.
And at one time, they will be bonded forever,
Once the bad times and prejudice is gone.

For now, however, God is trying them,
And testing out their hearts' endurance.
But He'll he surprised what can be conquered,
With this certain girl's perseverance.

Others start to fear for her well-being,
But she knows she'll live through this phase.
For she is always smiling through darkness,
And their love is pulling through stronger, each day.
