A Blues for Her

This is the first collection of poems of the Greek award-winning actress and poetess, Evi Koroni. Some of her poems have been published on poetry platforms and magazines receiving very good reviews.

My poems, my thoughts,
my invented words and, in the end,
every sentence I write,
they don't talk about poppies
but not even for green winged horses.
My poems
from human germ were born
from our own actions.
At times, I rouse
my confection of imagination
so my dreams are not complaining.

Author's Note

Dear Reader, I'm an avid letter writer, so I used that inspiration, along with the various poems and letters that I've sent, and created this book. I love blues music, I love letter. This poetry collection is the first book in English language. A book filled with memories and love. It's a book anyone can pick up and enjoy, and even give to their significant other. This collection touches on the subjects of loveand loss.Some of my poems have been published on poetry platforms and magazines receiving very good reviews.
