noun; an apparently meaningful coincidence in time of two or more similar or identical events that are causally unrelated

I always assumed that, 

In order to be loved,

I had to give the other person a piece of myself.

Something for them to hold on to, 

That they had to own me, 

To really know me.

Had to burn and burn, 

In order for them to be appeased,

And tolerate me.

This was all I knew,

 

Until I met you.

damn! takes me breath away .. powerful punch to the chest for me .. wow! love the brutal honesty of this one ... she was blindly stumbling down the dark alley .. and a bright light shined on her .. Synchronicity .. it leaves room for future heartbreak .. but for your protagonist .. i hope not .. we need a foundation .. a cornerstone that does not shake nor break eh!? ;)
