Look at me,

And it’s plain to see, 

Exactly what you have done to me.

Don’t pretend you don’t know, 

Don’t pretend to be pristine,

When you know,

Exactly what you have done to me.

You know every time we talk,

You break my heart, 

You know, 

The emotion I carry, 

And will always carry for you.

 

And yet you have the gall to mock, 

Even though you always initiate the unlock. 

Don’t even try, 

To hide, 

Beneath your cloak of lies. 

I can tell who you are inside.

 

You should have made it obvious to me,

That you wanted me,

In every way, 

From here until Tuesday.

You deserve to loose me.

And that’s all I’ll say.

oh man! you have a talent .. piercing the ego and assumptions of ... some .. not all .. men .. iyiyiyiyi .. the title pumped me up .. the poem made it personal from the start .. a hysterical crowd .. or woman .. a crowd one has a better chance of escaping but the woman .. not so easy .. i tried to teach my boys to respect women ... don't be a player .. and i tried to teach my daughters that boys to men are ... well ... not deserving to loose them .. things get so painful in the world of love and need and wanting .. pity .. happy to be old enough to be beyond all that .. great write says i .. powerful and .. hits like Ali .. :)

This poem has the feel of a half circle. I wonder will it meet up with itself eventually. Honestly, this was very creative and I enjoyed it and it may even sound a bit familiar. : )
