Vehemence

Vehemence

A Poem by K.P.H.M
"

noun; the display of strong feeling; passion.

"

We fight better when we are angry my dear.

Smoke induced tears,

Scatter the ground,

Begging to be found,

Freezing in this tundra heat,

Nothing we couldn’t beat.

A poppy remains there,

Where we first admitted our tear,

In the fabric we wove,

Too drunk to know about how far we dove,

Down deep in the trenches,

Where someone collected our drenches.

Amongst the diamonds in sky,

We seemed doomed to forever fly.

Until something shot us down,

Free falling to the ground,

Screaming at each other unbound,

Refusing to believe our love was impound.

Personally I believe I fight better when I am calm and over the anger part because when I am angry I am liable to say anything and it is much better to do this when you can think clearly. At least that is how I see it. Now, does it always happen that way...nope. : )
Kind of heavy and dark but I like your poem, its message is understood.
