Careless.

Careless.

A Poem by Fahmida Mehreen

One one hand, love stands lonely.
On the other it stands disgraced.
Such is that both holds it, helplessly.
Who can conceal the cracks?
Who can caress the throbbing muscular organ?
It is true love.
But only demands to be destined otherwise.

Thank you for your gentle appreciation.
Who can tell? The moments of sweetness can also be moments of bitterness. The caress of the throbbing organ can be the painful rubbing up the wrong way. For sure, 'the course of true love never did run smooth'. Nicely written, pithy and pungent.

That is very inspiring, Thank you.
I think love takes chemistry between two people. There are basic human needs but if love is left out of the equation, the relationship will either suffer or be non-existent.

A very heartfelt and sad poem. We are left to ponder as to where things went wrong.
Can love really be lonely and disgraced?
Maybe it was not love.
Maybe one person has loved whereas the other has not.
The cracks cannot be concealed.
