Cutting Deep

Cutting Deep

A Poem by Lacinius
"

Not finished yet...Im going to come back to.

"

& I fear that if I tell you what I'm thinking, you'll leave....

~

I've failed so many times due to the words I speak.

Letting you down seems to be my greatest accomplishment.

No matter what I say, the meaning is the knife that cuts you so deeply.

You read into things so much that you hurt yourself.

And yet, its my fault that you hurt.

Its my fault that you cry at night.

No one blames theirselves when they are blind.

They blame those they hear.

For the ones they hear,

are easiest to decieve.

But I have never decieved...

Little do you know that I cry at night.

Little do you know that I hurt inside.

But its me...

Its me that hurts you.

Interesting...and rather intriguing. I'm interested in seeing where you plan on going with this(your comment says this isn't finished). Very true words...Kinda sounds like someone is blaming themselves even though the other may be of equal blame...Great write. Nice work.

Writing, to me, is like screaming at the top of your lungs for the whole world to hear. Whatever you say can be heard if people really want to listen... Hi! I've been writing since I was about 7 years.. more..
