The Scar

I "accidentally" scribbled this in my text pad during Math. I liked it enough to put it here... Tell me what you think of it. I know it's short.

A broken plate is quite useless.
My broken heart took quite a long time to recover.

And, now,
Even though it's almost healed,
I know it'll forever leave a scar...

A scar,
Just like the one I have on my left wrist,
The one I carved,
The day you walked away.

I enjoyed it. Short, but to the point... definitely leaves an impact.
It's one of those poems that will leave you deep in thought... I remember those days as an adolescent when it seemed that if I couldn't have the person I wanted, I couldn't go on. :)
This reminds me of those overwhelmingly intense feelings that I had then (those same ones that I try to hide and pretend that I don't have now).
I really loved it. Thanks for sharing.
