Calm Before the Storm

Calm Before the Storm

A Poem by Tallulah
"

Napo #4

"

Quiet, Peaceful, Safe

Everything is its place

Life rushes and plays

Birds sing, flowers bloom

Squirrles chatter incessant tunes

Clouds move through the sky

The grass is bright green

The lake ripples playfully

Leaves sway in the wind

Birds stop short their songs

Thunder crashes in the sky

And then the storm came

I liked it a lot, a very nice description of nature before a storm. People who know more about writing than I do, wouldn't like it, though because they'd complain that you are "telling too much and not showing enough", but honestly, I think telling is nice if it's done well, and you succeeded in doing that well.

Very good write :]
I enjoyed reading this
and this also does make you think more

Whn I got to the end it seemed like something more than nature and I think that is what you are getting at
Right when I read the last line it made me think of different things.

Great job
