It was Nothing

It was Nothing

A Poem by Tallulah
"

She had everything

"

All her life she had everything

She was born

Silver spoon in hand

To her all that glittered

Was gold

And no one could tell her

Anything different

She had everything

Yet she had nothing

Simple pleasures

Were few and rare

And her happiness

Resided in shopping

She was alone

With only money to

Heal her soul....

One day she was told

That her life glittered with money

And that's when she realized

All that glitters isn't gold...

I like the concept, I think you can add to it though. :)

Realization of not having what you thought you had...is eye opening.

Well done!

It reminds me of The Great Gatsby. I like it, but it's certainly not your best.
