Escaping Myself

Escaping Myself

A Poem by ashley newman

Run your fingers along my spine
Tease me, please me with love so fine
Locked so gentley in your embrace
As you send strings of kisses down my face.

So sweet, so tempting it's almost too much.
Don't stop, hold me tighter, I want more then your touch.
Just for a few moments I want to be free
Of everything that seems to take over me

All I need is your soft, tender smile
To help me escape from myself for awhile.
Whisper of kisses cloud my mind
This is the feeling I was trying to find

The rush, the sensation, of floating in air
I'd give anything to forever stay there
Caught in the moment safe in your arms
It's so easy to fall for your sinister charm.
