Rise of Heartbeat...Fear of an End

The fear of breakup and to be strong even after breakup.

Just when everything was going right

A gushing wind came so bright

Out of nowhere, you gave an atrocious fright....

 

Your exact words still linger in My heart

“I need to talk”

And talking till date has never been a good part...

 

Even though it was a last resort

You were my consort

Why can't we be unique?

You were antique...

 

Problems arise that is called life sweetheart

But I fear this one might actually break us apart

My heart tells me something is wrong

Hoping and praying what I feel is long gone...

 

Just when everything was going on it's way

Why did life had to come and screw my way

I wish you would just think twice

Because happiness comes with huge price

If the time has come for us to depart

I would even, if it would tear my heart...

 

If breaking apart is what you want

Then that is what you will get even if it will haunt

Relationships are not a chess game

To see who gets the queen and who loses the reign...

 

Life never goes as we planned

But remember one thing

Whatever happens, Happens for good

Even though it’s hard to be understood…

I really like it!! Especially the last stanza, it is so resonant in so many ways. Reminds me of some lyrics: "Only time will tell, but it's not so good with words, waiting for the fog to clear." A kind of hopeful ending to a depressing situation, look for that shimmer of light at the end o the tunnel.

I like the logic and the good thoughts in the poem. The ending was very good.

The above lines are true. Things I needed and wanted in my youth were not good for me. I was lucky to escape them. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
