The Beauty of Uncertainty

Some nights we stumble, 

We are not doing our best to show 

Uncertain of why or how we feel, 

Lost in the shadows of the night's embrace.

Some nights, communication seems impossible.

Unable to form words in our minds,

to describe exactly how we felt at the time.

Some nights, amidst the darkness, 

We question ourselves, of who we are 

Unsure of our place in others' lives,

But on those nights, it is necessary to know 

That we are loved, we are thought of 

Residing in the hearts of lovely souls,

Living on in the memories of beautiful minds 

Traces of us are everywhere. 

Our name resides on the tips of their tongues.

Some nights prove rough;

hearts are filled with pain. 

Aching with questions that still remain. 

But the night shall pass, 

it will come around again. 

This time in the form of sweet bliss. 

Sleep will embrace us, tired and worn. 

In deep slumber, the pain is torn. 

The night will come again.

But it will be better. we will be better.
