Noam Chomsky at Pearl Harbor

Noam Chomsky at Pearl Harbor

A Poem by Todd Ford
"

didn't know Chomsky was such a cut-up

"

Neptune damaged pearl

imperial democracy

lost helpless comforting empire

submarine destroyed creation conventional challenging

bludgeon democracy free participating strike

environment damaged rich overseas

December consume Japanese damaged kingdom

helpless Bible stopping censorship

rich generation would pressure six

Nuremberg role carriers

Japan involves media education

everybody affects laws by harbor

bludgeon against illusion

people repeat imagination over language

damaged comforting

something we a culture would process

imagination from expression freedom self-fulfillment

words free battleships
