La, la

La, la

A Poem by fatalsymphonies

La, la
A voice for my melody,
It guides my way like a bridge to my soul,
over blue, blue waters with fleeting horizon lines,
Do you hear the song,
or is that just me?

Stand at the edge and take a breath,
Jump, no, dive,
Breathe in my words like a bane,
a sweet, sweet
Poison.

Do you feel that sting,
or is that just me?

La, la
A breath for my symphony,
Smile for the high notes, weep for the low.......
La, la
A touch for the chorus,
A scent for the refrain.

La, la
Do you feel that water glistening upon your skin,
or is that just...
me?

La, la
La, la

Did you submerge yourself in the waters
deep under the bridge,
or is that, dear
Is that just me?

A interesting tale in this poem. I like the flow of the poem. The ending left me confused. Couldn't feel fear or sadness at the end. A strange peace can be felt in the last lines. A excellent poem. Made me think.
