Legend of the Pantyhose

Legend of the Pantyhose

A Poem by Phae

It wasn't that it was sheer,
Definitely, wearing it I could bear,
But when people stopped and looked,
I started thinking, 'My goose is cooked,'

Why are they staring at me that way?
Maybe I shouldn't have worn pantyhose today,
When I walked passed them boys,
Ah, they really can be toys,

My mother saw me when I got back,
She'd always said, a sense of fashion did I lack,
She was suprised to see I'd worn pantyhose,
I walked away sticking in the air, my nose,

I promise my hips aren't that wide anymore,
A month of lectures was a total bore,
Nevertheless, the work had made me lose weight,
From morning till night, I hardly ate,

So I sit behind the class writing stuff,
When exams come around, boy will I have it rough,
But still I feel pretty as a rose,
Sharing with you, the day I wore pantyhose.
