This poem is in remembrance of a friend's father who couldn't get enough of raking leaves.

Levitation of Fallen Leaves

A Tribute

When flaming golds of autumn

Leap from maples’ boughs,

A heedful light shines on them.

His spirit, they arouse.

And as his eager hand

Finds rake and tattered gloves,

The battered leaves retreat

And in their wake fly doves.
