follow me
i'm headed for the shore
i'm tired of the sea
and its shifting liquid floor
it was fun
trying to stay afloat
but i'm done
even though we share this boat

follow me
i'm headed for the shore
lest we drown in this stormy sea
losing all that we fought for

and we'll walk on firm ground
far from the turbulent sea
make a home for the love we've found

I enjoyed this poem and the repetition of your title. There's a simpleness about it but it also has a sort of jubilant characteristic involved that is appealing. Glad I read it.
