a different show, on the same note(on deja vu)

a different show, on the same note(on deja vu)

A Poem by Everett Dulin

i wonder if you think
did i find
love?
because i do

my solo
fades out,
i decrescendo
but time sings
in repeated sorrows

one more draft
one more note
my cue, my moment
left completely open
i completely

froze

and wasted lines
remind me of
tomorrow
and wasted time
will chorus
and i will refrain
all of my woe

wasted time
is my sorrow
and ive moved on but
get caught by
echoes
seething in deep vibrato
something along the lines of

why do i feel alone?

I think this happens in every new love. Because every love story is the same. Or all lives, all issues. We are more similar than we think, and we all experience the same events. When you enter a new relationship, the feeling of "I did it with him/her" can be uncomfortable, but it is normal. After all, life has not stopped, and it has a certain fluidity. Although events may seem similar, history never repeats itself. It is never the same. Might be the same note, but still a different show.
And I will tire my brain by reading your poems again and again and thinking about where you get these inspirations from, a nice tiredness.
