I’ll be away for a while

I’ll be away for a while

I’ll become a man

of the wilderness 

and I’ll show with begotten

hands, how worthy of a dream


I really am


purpose, pulls me nigh

and close without reason

if I die, chasing those dreams

that purpose, will allow me


to finally die free


as a wanderer, the things

those terrors that I’ve seen

now fuel me to push, to a fate

that I deem fulfilling


I am no longer a wanderer


there’s a story

about a bystander, finally

pushed to action, a survivor

who won’t die until he’s finished


because he found a dream worth chasing 


I will survive, no

I will become the light

the one born from

the depths of nothing


and I will be loved
