Slender (Do You Want To Play A Game?)

Slender (Do You Want To Play A Game?)

A Poem by James McCoy
"

Wrote this a few years ago for a contest about the game Slender: The 8 Pages.

"
Do you want to play a game?

You enter the place

Leaves crunch. Twigs break. Hearts pound.

Page 1.

You start to hear the steady beat, BOOM! BOOM!

Page 2.

Who's that in the distance...?

Page 3.

He's close now, trying to suck you in...

...sh!t. You lose count.

Page 5? 6?

Page 8.

Constant static now, constant panicked U-turns

All the way back to where you entered his bit of hell, his domain.

Do you want to play a game?

This is the perfect description of how I reacted when I first played Slender. You did a good job with writing this piece!

This was interesting. I never really understood the game slender or what it entailed. I still enjoyed this. It was haunting and spooky. Great job!!!!
