A PICTURE FRAME

� The future is not so uncertain.�

A picture frame on a desk
with no picture in it.

Why would I have a picture frame with no picture in it...
That frame, the picture that is to be in there, is my future.
Its nothing fancy, but its the shape and symbol of love.
Its my soul mate holding me,
Its me looking at the sky with a smile
It's his lips kissing my cheek
It's me wearing white.
Its him wearing a suit.

It will speak of a time in which our love was professed to all.
A time that the ONE approved of,
He said, " Now is the time. The clay must come together"
A time for joy, a time for love.
A vow that not one can break.

For now, the frame remains empty.
A pretty frame indeed.
But beautiful it will be, the day the Flame will be consummated with Joy.
A still of the future, a still of my soul mate holding me, of him kissing my cheek..
.. of me, smiling at him.

The symbolism in this poem is dynamic! I was able to get a sense of imagery of the picture frame in this poem the hope that awaits it...... Now I understand, Flame of Joy.
