AN AMAZING WOMAN

AN AMAZING WOMAN

A Poem by Kitty
"

Inspired by Maya Angelou, But I made it with my personal life experiences. This is me, imperfect and Amazing

"

With make-up or with out

With a pair of Jeans or with a mini-skirt...
I am,

An amazing woman.
At a house party, or at church

When I'm beat down or full of Joy...
I am, clearly,

an amazing woman.
When my lips hold a cigarette

or when the Lord gives me a word to edify your soul...
Still I am,

an Amazing woman.
When im struggling in my sins,

Or my cup runs over in His love...
I am, an amazing woman.
When the potter puts me through the fire to refine me..
Or I lay on the threshing floor with tears pouring from my soul
I am still,

an Amazing woman.

This life is not about me, and Its not what I have done,
but about what He does through me.
Despite the mistakes I make,
Despite the battles my flesh may win,
The day I chose to do His will
and to glorify His name...
in that instant...
and until the end...
He is why, I became an Amazing Woman.

I like this alot. You spoke the truth so well. No matter what, we are always His creation and oh what wondrous creatures we are when we have been purified in the Refiner's fire.

I am writing a book called Healing Fires and it is about going through the storms of life and taking what we have gone through and turning them around to use them for God's glory. Thank you for sharing this.
