Is it wrong of me
to want us alone in this world?
Am I too selfish
to want you for myself?
Can I write my own story or
should I play the cards I’m dealt?

“This world needs a queen and
I’ll put you on its throne.
Every lake and river
will reflect your beauty,
Peaks and hills shall
resonate you grandeur,
Your allure and charm
inked by a fabled raconteur.
The sun will shine down
on your pedestal.
Your luminescence and grace
are nothing short of celestial.”

That is how I see you in my mind
and I’m sure you cannot deny.
