Ghost in the Clouds

Ghost in the Clouds

A Poem by Vicarious Fieldog

Time is moving,
No sign of slowing,
The doom timers goin down

Robot faces
Change the pace as
We race along the line

He watches, he waits
For us to cave in on ourselves
Burying too far into secrets
As we dig and as we delve

He waits he watches
For the doom clock to strike twelve
He watches, he waits
As the blotches, are erased
Never to return

Taking lives, and testing fates
Killing brothers, killing sons and killing fathers
As they die to the sound
Of our twisted cackling laughter

He waits he watches
For the doom clock to strike twelve
He watches, he waits
As the blotches, are erased
Never to return

Destroying the home, created for them
Guardians gone slayers
as they rip creatures from their dens
beasts on two legs
Flashes of light, flames that destory
Again comes the cold sound of that evil laugh

He waits he watches
For the doom clock to strike twelve
He watches, he waits
As the blotches, are erased
Never to return

Never to return (x3)
