The Devil

The Devil

A Poem by floira
"

A Devil's Tale

"

He creeps up the houses

In the eeriness of night

The head of spirits,

The king of fright

Every day performing horrible sins

Frying brains and boiling skins

This is not someone

You find on the streets

Cause he can’t openly

Plan evil deeds!

The mastermind of wickedness

The Einstein of crime

Lacking forgiveness

And covered with grime

The worst one is Satan,

Supposed to be good

Why did he change,

No one understood

He has a horrifying past

And an unknown present

Though his existence feels so irrelevant

Devils are to watch out for

For they can start ferocious wars

Before sleeping

Just check the curtains

Cause a devil’s visit

Is the most uncertain.........

A nice poem that's kind of ironically light-hearted. Great work.
