I Miss You

I Miss You

A Poem by Gillian
"

A poem about missing someone, and denying the hurt they gave you.

"
Everyone asks me if I meant it;
If I mean it when I say I miss you.
Because you hurt me, they say,
Because I was at my absolutely worst when you left.
They tell me I just miss the memories.
But I miss your ridiculous jokes
and I miss how you were somehow shyer than me
I miss your midday texts
I miss your laugh
I miss you, you a*****e,
I miss you and I need you
Even though I know I could do better,
You never deserved me.
I'm a f*****g princess with one of the brightest futures ever and
You didn't deserve me.
I miss you.
