Woke up smiling today

Last night you came to see me

We were chatting and laughing away

Reminiscing of how it used to be

Foolishly i played along

I knew it would not last

You humming your favourite song

Happy memories of the past

It's like when i open my eyes

And i've forgotten how to fly

My dreams are just memories and lies 

And you are high above the sky
