Happened

Today, Happened.
I don’t know if it was a blessing
or a curse - 
but it Happened,
and now its over.

And Yesterday,
Yesterday Happened too.
It Happened in the
unstoppable way 
that days Happen.

And chances are,
Tomorrow will Happen.
Tomorrows will keep
Happening.

Today, like Yesterday,
Happened 
without asking for permission.
Tomorrow won’t 
ask for permission either.

One day,
a Tomorrow will Happen
without me.

And that one days Tomorrow
will Happen without me
and without permission.

Days Happen,
without taking suggestion
as to when they should
start
or end.

I can only hope 
that Today
will take me with it
to Tomorrow,
but if it doesn’t,
I can at least be certain 
that Today,
Happened.
