Having Something To Say

One of my favorites!

You wake up early in the morning

A thought hits you without warning

You can't wait to tell someone

Of what this thought has become

You have apprehension

Can't stand all the tension

Got to go out and talk

Going to run, not walk

You get everything ready and you start to run

You lose your breath fast because of the scorching sun

The days grow longer as you keep going

No matter what happens you are never slowing

Going east and then going west

You're out there to beat the best

Nothing's going to stop you now

But you don't know when and you don't know how

You're going to get there someday

Because it's all with having something to say
